Sinclair Adult Field Trip to Wamsutter, WY to see "Big Boy" & "Desert Dust" site

Town of Sinclair Adult Field Trip to Wamsutter, WY on Thursday, April 23rd!

This Sinclair resident field trip will include a stop for lunch and then a viewing of the "Big Boy Train" in Wamsutter from 12noon-12:30pm. After the train viewing, we will venture south of Wamsutter to "capture canyon" where the famous "Desert Dust" palomino horse was captured in 1945 and where the famous photo taken by Rawlins resident, Verne Wood, was snapped.

Interested participants need to call Monte Thayer at (307)321-8694 to sign up and must be at the Sinclair Rec Hall a little before 10am. We should arrive back to Sinclair by approximately 3:30pm.
