Built in 1924, the beautifully restored Parco/Sinclair Historical Theatre hosts a variety of events and performing arts such as movies, concerts, candidate forums, comedy shows, magic shows, holiday and other public events. Concessions are available at most events.
The Parco/Sinclair Historical Theatre features a 191-seat performance auditorium (with a capacity of 198 to allow for wheelchair seating), large stage (14’ x 26’ with a performing area of about 14’ x 18’), a state-of-the-art sound system, projector, screen and warmly-appointed lobby. The facility is ADA compliant and handicap accessible.
Whether you are planning an intimate reception or elaborate ceremony, the Parco/ Sinclair Historical Theatre is a truly unique venue. It is ideal for weddings, memorial services, private ceremonies, private concerts, holiday parties, social engagements and corporate events.
The Sinclair Town Hall, located at 300 Lincoln Avenue, houses offices for the mayor and other town officials, the Parco/Sinclair Historic Museum, 1 large conference room, 2 small conference rooms and 5 one-person and two-person office spaces. An elevator is available.
The large conference room can seat 40-50 people, with flexible table configurations. Use of a big screen monitor and WIFI access are included. A refundable deposit is required. (Additional office space can be rented for breakout sessions or meetings, provided they are not already in use).
The 2 smaller conference rooms seat 6-10 people each. Use of a big screen monitor and WIFI access are included. A refundable deposit is required.
1-person and 2-person office space can be rented on a daily, weekly or monthly basis, with a refundable deposit. Annual rentals must be approved by the Sinclair Town Council.
The Sinclair Recreation Hall, located at 502 Lincoln Avenue, houses a tea room, a full-size gymnasium and the Community Events Director's office. This venue is ideal for group gatherings, birthday parties, wedding receptions and showers, fundraisers, arts and craft shows, and business meetings.
The gymnasium has a maximum occupancy of 290 people and can be rented on a daily basis. Table and chair set-up are available. A refundable deposit is required. For birthday parties and celebrations, a bouncy house is available for use.
Located at 401 Lincoln Avenue, Washington Park is a great place to gather and experience outdoor art and music festivals, celebrations and let kids play. This public park features picnic tables, pavilions, a playground with dinosaurs to climb on and cushioned ground for low impact bumps and falls, clean restrooms, an original Union Pacific Caboose, baseball field, sand volleyball court, horseshoe pits, basketball court, lots of trees and shade, and plenty of parking.
The use of Washington Park is free, however, the pavilion can be reserved for private events. Arrangements can be made by calling the Sinclair Rec Hall at (307) 324-2628.
McCulloch Park and the Sinclair School park are also available. Both have playgrounds, however, there are no public restrooms.
